MEET AMBASSADOR ORIAIFO ODION                              KESSINGTON

          

Ambassador ORIAIFO ODION KESSINGTON, was born to the family of Deacon and Barr. Pst. Mrs. Helen Oriaifo in 1987. 

Ambassador Odion Oriaifo attended Greater Tomorrow Secondary school, Benin city, Ambrose Alli University, AAU, Ekpoma, both in Edo state. Charles Wright Museum School of Arts and Curator Studies and the University of The West of Scotland, United Kingdom. He did his compulsory National Youth Service, NYSC, in 2012 in Nassarawa state.  

A Businessman, Philanthropist and Politician, Amb. Odion Oriaifo, is the second child in a family of six children, Odion is a Twin.

Kessington Odion Oriaifo is a business man that is into various lines of businesses, including Textile and Fashion, Cooking Gas and Mixological Fittings to Homes.

As a man of philantropic rectitude and love for the people, Amb.Oriaifo Odion Kessington birthed his Pet-Project,THE ORIAIFO CHILDCARE FOUNDATION in memory of his father, Deacon Philip Oriaifo who passed on in 2013: a foundation that has touched hundreds of lives in the rural hamlets and suburbs. Odion Oriaifo, is the founder and Chairman, BOARD OF REGENTS of the Foundation. He bagged AN INTERNATIONAL Award and Recognition in 2019 As an Ambassador to the TOYS-4-TORTS Foundation in Lithonia, Georgia, USA.

Young Odion Oriaifo's political journey, dated back to his academic days in Ambrose Alli University, AAU, Ekpoma, as the Students Union Government's, SUG, Director of Welfare and later an SUG House of Parliament Senator. He was also involved in many National Association of Nigeria Students, NANS, consultations and engagements for  better Nigerian students.

On his graduation from the University, Ambassador Odion Oriaifo ventured into secular politics under the tutelage of his Uncle and one time Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator (Dr) John Oriaifo.

In the year 2009, Amb. Odion Oriaifo contested for the Councillor of Ward one in Esan central local government area, with the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, an election that was truncated that year by the opposition party in power.

Amb.  Oriaifo Odion was during his National Youth Service activity in Nassarawa state, was turbaned with the Chieftaincy title of THE SUGABAN-KOPPA of SHABU-LAFIA, meaning; "DEFENDER OF THE NIGERIA CORPER". This turbaning and more, are the many reasons why people want to know Oriaifo Odion's Ethnicity, Religion, Ancestry ,Race, Religion and Political views.

On return from The North after the demise of his father, he laid low for a while and decided to venture into business. He partnered with two of his foreign links to open A MULTI-NATIONAL international fashion and Textile outfit BENCHMARK INTERNATIONAL FASHIONS AND TEXTILES with Headquarters in MICHIGAN, USA. A business that exports african artifacts and textiles to the United States of America.

Ambassador Oriaifo has always been a man of the people and always assumes a MESSIAH approach to matters that pertains defending humanity.This made him aspire for the LEGISLATIVE REPRESENTATION as a platform on which he can emancipate his people and improve their living standards by bringing development "downstream" for the sake of better life for rural dwellers.

In the year 2019, Amb. Odion aspired to represent Esan Central Constituency in Edo state House of Assembly, under the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).

Amb. Kessington Odion Oriaifo is presently the Group Manager, BENCHMARK GAS SERVICES-an outfit that supplies LPG Gas and Mixological Fittings to homes.

Amb. Odion Oriaifo is again warming up to contest for the Member to represent Esan central constituency in Edo state House of Assembly EDHA, come 2023.

A lover of people and a man that respects tradition and the call of God in the lives of people. He loves Swimming and Gyming. He is a proud Member of the Nigerian Red Cross Society and a Youth Teacher with GODHEAD PRAYER MINISTRY.

He is happily married to Princess Ebuwa Oriaifo and they are blessed with a daughter, Harmony.
