AMB.Oriaifo Selected By UN As Delegate/Observer


The International Youth Day celebration for the year 2024 has been held in the United Nations headquarters in New York, USA. 

Solomon Agbugie reports that a representative from Edo State Nigeria, Amb. Oriaifo Odion Kessington M. ph, mRCN played a double role both as a delegate and an observer at the UN headquarters in New York. 


At the 2024 AFS Youth Assembly more than 600 Delegates from 100 countries had the chance to connect across thirty plus sessions, networking opportunities and interactive activities designed to advance social impact.

World leaders and speakers at the event included, Priyadarshani Joshi, Senior Research Officer UNESCO. STEPHANIE Giannini Assistant Director of Education UNESCO, STACY Montejo Director Global Sustainability ASTRA-Zeneca, Daniel Obst, President and CEO Intercultural Programms UNITED NATIONS.

Other participants from different parts of the world including Amb. Oriafo Odion Kessington M. ph, mRCN, who is the Chairman of Oriaifo Foundation said; "...the event was very educative and eventful". He expressed his gratitude to the United Nations, to the IOM and other multinational organisations for making the event a success. 


This year’s international youth day celebration with the theme: 'Empowering Youths To Foster Peace And Security Through Global Citizenship', focuses on young persons as agent of positive change.

Oriaifo Foundation  Christmas/New Year Outreach 2025 The yearly distribution of Rice and other food items, during Christmas/New Year festive season, by Oriaifo Foundation, will be coming up again on Tuesday, the 23rd of December 2025, and the communities mapped out for this year's outreach, are: Atuagbo, Ugbalo, Ibore, Okhoronmi and Ikeko-Oriaifo Palm Farm communities, while Ekilor, will be the hosting community. The event is scheduled to hold in the Primary School, and scheduled to last between 1pm to 5pm on the said date.
